This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through WagyuClub.com. By placing an order with WagyuClub, you agree to the terms below.
WagyuClub ships premium, perishable Japanese Wagyu beef that requires strict temperature control. All retail shipments are packed in temperature-controlled boxes using a combination of dry ice and gel packs. The packing system is designed to keep the beef at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit until the time of delivery under normal transit conditions.
Dry ice is intended to sublimate during transit. If a package arrives without visible dry ice, this does not indicate a failure. It indicates that the dry ice has functioned as intended during shipping. Once the dry ice has burned off, the gel packs continue to maintain a safe cold temperature through delivery.
WagyuClub does not guarantee that products will arrive frozen solid. Partial thawing may occur during transit and does not automatically indicate spoilage or defect. Customers are responsible for proper handling immediately upon delivery.
Upon delivery, it is advised to place the beef directly into the freezer if it will not be consumed immediately. If the customer intends to eat the beef right away, the product should be defrosted after arrival. For best results, WagyuClub recommends defrosting in the refrigerator approximately twenty-four (24) hours prior to cooking.
WagyuClub advises
that refrigerated Japanese Wagyu beef be kept at refrigerated temperature for no more than five (5) days after thawing. If kept frozen, the beef may be stored for up to six (6) months without material degradation when properly sealed and stored at consistent freezer temperatures.
Retail Shipping
Retail orders are shipped using third-party carriers selected by WagyuClub. Shipping methods, transit times, and delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates only and are not guarantees. WagyuClub is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, mechanical failures, customs processes, regulatory inspections, incorrect or incomplete addresses, or events outside WagyuClub’s control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the shipment and immediately store the product upon delivery. WagyuClub is not responsible for packages left unattended, stolen, exposed to heat, or improperly stored after delivery.
Risk of loss transfers to the customer at the time the order is handed off to the carrier, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Minimum Order Requirement
All retail orders are subject to a minimum purchase requirement of two (2) pounds per order. Orders that do not meet this requirement will not be shipped.
Condition on Arrival and Claims
Customers must inspect their shipment immediately upon delivery. If a product arrives in poor condition, the customer must document the issue and contact support at support@wagyuclub.com within twenty-four (24) hours of the recorded delivery time. Required documentation includes the order number, a written description of the issue, clear photographs of the product, and clear photographs of all internal and external packaging, insulation, gel packs, and any remaining dry ice indicators.
Claims submitted after twenty-four (24) hours or without complete documentation will be denied. Shipping-related complaints are handled exclusively under WagyuClub’s Refund Policy. No refunds or replacements will be issued without documentation.
WagyuClub assumes no responsibility for spoilage, thawing, or degradation caused by delayed pickup, unattended delivery, improper storage, refreezing, or customer handling after delivery.
Wholesale Shipping
Wholesale orders are subject to separate shipping arrangements. Standard retail shipping terms do not apply to wholesale purchases.
Wholesale deliveries must be prearranged in advance with a WagyuClub representative. Delivery methods, timing, temperature control responsibilities, and transfer of risk are defined on a case-by-case basis. Once a wholesale order is delivered, all responsibility for storage, handling, processing, resale, and service transfers to the wholesale buyer.
WagyuClub assumes no liability for wholesale products after delivery, including any issues arising from downstream handling, preparation, or service.
General Disclaimers
WagyuClub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from shipping delays, carrier handling, delivery failures, or customer storage decisions. Shipping fees are non-refundable except where expressly approved by WagyuClub in writing.
This Shipping Policy may be updated at any time without notice. The version posted on WagyuClub.com at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
